The world's best salesmen

After being in Cancun with my wife for the last week, you quickly come to realize who the best salesmen in the world are: The vendors on the streets.  NO joke.  These guys speak many languages, are ultra aggressive, and break the ice very quickly. They even resort to emotional selling tactics or use pity.  One guy even told me that he would rip us off less than the others!!  After a good laugh, we went in to his store to check out his wares.   Being there also brings you a dose of humility, and a tug back to reality.  We really are super fortunate to be Americans and have the opportunity to go from rags to riches with hard work, focused effort, and more hard work.

Being there also made me think about insurance and the selling techniques of insurance companies.  When you buy insurance, do you feel like the tourist and the insurance companies are the vendors?  You inevitably go for the one that you think will rip you off less than the others, right?  Unfortunately, many buying experiences are like that.   It's horrible when you have buyers remorse, or you feel that you were sold something.

In my office, my agents don't sell: they present options and the customer decides what option fits their needs best.   After all, we want you for life.

So give us a call for your next insurance need.  You'll be glad you did.
